This weekend The Capalog will be at The Arthouse in Wakefield for their Crafted Makers Market.
As well as the makers market, there is also open studios and an onsite coffee house. I haven't been to the Arthouse before but I have heard a lot about it and I know a couple of the studioholders, such as @ellie_way known for her local travel posters and @seannadoonanillustrutation and her beaut detailed and vibrant social illustrations. Both of which I have prints from hanging in my house!
I also know a handful of the other stallholders, so I already have an inkling of the vibes of the day and can vouch for some beaut finds. I know there are a lot of markets happening at the moment, so if you want a good one to pop too, then try this one!
As for caps, we are in autumn winter season now, so trapper caps are out. I'm trialling a new system at markets this year, in order to balance having more colours and reducing textile waste. Which means as well as sample sizes for the panel caps, I'm also bringing sample sizes for the trapper caps. So you can try on in real life and order one in your colour choice at a market, whilst trusting it's the right size.
Should be a cool daytrip! Both events are open 10-4. More info here: @thearthouseuk
