Makers Markets: APRIL

If you want to try caps on before buying, you can find The Capalog at makers markets up and down the country, and these are the ones for April!
Markets are always listed on the EVENTS page as well fyi.

On Saturday the 12th April, The Capalog will be at Crafty Fox Market in Granary Square. The market is on both days, but I'll only be there on the SATURDAY.

Held next to Kings Cross, in the vibrant shopping area of Granary square and right next to Coal Drops Yard, this is a great destination for a day out. There are so so many shops here and unique ones such as the book barge, just a few yards away.
Cap wise if you want to work out your size, I always bring at least one cap between in all the sizes xxs-5xl, this is normally a panel or basic cap. I always have a mirror too at markets, so you can try before you buy and just see how the short peak suits, or work out your size. You can also order a cap at a market and I always have a selection of trapper caps and winter caps too. Even though it is April.. it doesn't seem to be predictable weather wise this year!
Crafty Fox Market is well curated and each day is full of traders, 100+ on each day. I've done this market at this a location a few times now, so can speak from personal experience, it's a beaut market location, with plenty of space to comfortably browse stalls, let alone the standard of the curation. It's always tricky not to spend sales money on other stuff tbh!

Then the very next day on sunday the 13th April, The Capalog will be back in Newcastle at Made Up North right in Newcastle city centre at The Boiler Shop. I've also traded at this venue before too and even had a stall next to Rebecca the organiser herself at another market. She is a good egg. It definitely helps that the organiser is a fellow maker herself, as it means she has a good eye for good makers. if you are Newcastle based, def come check this one out.

Last time at Made Up North! My stall has definitely grown since then, but colours and aesthetic remain the same.
